RDMA

« Back to Glossary Index

(Remote Direct Memory Access) is a technology that allows data to be transferred directly between the memory of two computers over a network without involving the CPU, cache, or operating system on either side. RDMA provides low-latency, high-throughput data transfers, making it ideal for high-performance computing (HPC). RDMA significantly reduces overhead and improves efficiency in network communications.
